Bacon Wrapped Asparagus
A sophisticated take on a childhood favourite – brunch will never be the same again.
Ingredients
3 rashers of British Smoked Streaky Bacon
6 stalks of asparagus
2 eggs
Oil
Salt and pepper
Method
Line tray with baking paper.
Cut bacon rashers in half.
Lightly pinch the end of the bacon and bottom of asparagus together and twirl the bacon around.
Place on tray and brush with oil.
Put in oven on grill at 190°C.
Cook for 5 minutes. Turn. And then cook for a further 5.
Place eggs in saucepan half full of water. Place on stove, bring to boil then turn off heat, place lid on top and rest for 3 minutes.
