Our Versatile Vinaigrette

Get ahead of the BBQ game with this salad dressing that can be made ahead of time and can last for up to 10 days in the fridge. It’s perfect to dress any salad, be it garden, bean, rice or even pasta!

Preperation time 5 mins | Makes approx. 1 cup or dresses up to 4 to 6 salads

Ingredients

Crowd Dressing

  • 2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 3/4 tsp dried garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (or juice of half a lemon)
  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup red or white wine vinegar
  • White or black pepper)

Single Salad Dressing (Dresses 1 salad)

  • 1/2 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1/4 tsp dried garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 2.5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp red or white wine vinegar
  • White or black pepper

Method

  1. Place all ingredients in a jar and give it a good shake well until well combined.
  2. Season to your liking with salt and pepper. Let rest for 5 minutes before using or keep in fridge until ready to use.
