Ultimate British Sausage Co. Meatlovers Pizza

Looking for an easy way to spice up your homemade classics? Why not try topping your pizza with some British Bacon, Ham or Sausages…or all three?

Ingredients

  • British Smoked Streaky Bacon
  • 2 British Sausage Co. Mild Italian Sausages
  • British Smoked Premium Leg Ham
  • ½ cup sundried tomatoes
  • ½ red onion
  • BBQ sauce
  • Mozzarella cheese (as much as desired)
  • Parmesan cheese (as much as desired)
  • ½ cup tomato-style pizza sauce

Dough

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried yeast
  • 25ml olive oil
  • ¾ cup warm water

Method

  1. Combine water and yeast in a small bowl. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine flour and salt in a large bowl. Then add oil and yeast mix. Mix together until moist.
  3. Place the dough on a lightly floured surface. Kneed for 10 minutes. Cover and let it rise for 35 minutes.
  4. On the same floured surface using a rolling pin mould the dough into your desired pizza shape.
  5. Top dough with pizza sauce and spread evenly, allowing 1cm on the edge for crust.
  6. Sprinkle on half the mozzarella evenly then add the tomatoes.
  7. Finely chop the bacon, ham and onion and sprinkle over base.
  8. Chop the sausages into small chunks and fry in a pan for 4 minutes then transfer to the pizza.
  9. Top with rest of mozzarella and Parmesan.
  10. Top with light squirt of BBQ sauce in a circular fashion.
  11. Place on tray lined with baking paper and cook in 180°C oven for 20 minutes. Turn on grill in oven and cook for a further 5 minutes.
