8 British Sausage Co. Classic Beef Eater Sausages or your sausage of choice
8 bread rolls of your choice
2 red or white onions, finely sliced
1 tablespoon butter or olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
2 cups grated cheddar cheese
Cook your sausages either in the pan, oven or BBQ (refer to cooking method on pack).
While your sausages are cooking, heat fry pan with butter or olive oil, add onion and sauté for 10 minutes on medium-low heat. Add balsamic vinegar, reduce heat and cook for a further 5 minutes with the lid on. Once onions are cooked (they should be soft and tender but not broken apart) it’s time to assemble!
Cut rolls down the middle, and layer your ingredients and condiments to your liking. Our recommendation is to layer with onion a small amount of cheese, then sausage then top with a little more cheese.
